Design Work

Hey all,

Well today is the first day of the new era of America as our first Africian-American president was elecected. Anyway, we worked on our first design oriented assignment today. Through the class I worked on reproducing the given templete and completed the layout right as class ended, all done in hard-coding. I was actually one of the first people to figure out how to get the table to sit right up against the window. So today went well and I plan on finishing that site rather fast now.

Just Another Monday

Hey Guys,

It’s Joey again. Sorry for the break, but for some reason I was having trouble getting my posts up. Anyway, I fixed it and I am back. Today was just a normal Monday, other than the fact that grades close at last bell. It took me a bit of fiddling but I got everything working perfectly and looking good for the final grade. Even though I messed around a bit with Dobie and Steve since they had their work submitted, I was able to submit my work for final grading right on time.

Halloween Reviews … Just a Little Scary

Hey,

Joey back for a short Friday entry. Today we finally reviewed eachother’s Halloween sites. By looking at all of these sites, I can say that we have some really good designers and coders in our class. It was great to receive all the comments from everyone and learn what I did right and what could use some work. Remarkably, I received several comments from people that really could not find anything wrong with my site. That greatly pleased me. Well another weeks gone by, and another weekend is apon us.

Free Time ^.^;

Hey guys,

Joey’s back for another blog post. Earlier today, I attended the Rachel’s Challange event. It was both a sad but inspiring presintation. We spent more than half the class discussing what we saw and learned during that presintation pn Rachel’s life goals and challanges for the world.  Once we finished, Mrs. Engvall allowed us to work on some individual projects. As the rest of the class progressed our “group” started to get more involved in Dobe’s project and we spent much of the time working on its design. That’s all for today.

Halloween … It’s Scary Done!

Halloween Site’s Coming Together

Hey to those still watching this,

I’m back from a long night of work on the Halloween site. I tell you its really starting to look nice graphicly. During class today, I mostly worked on the actual content of the site. I tried to add a bit of a comedic tone to this dark holiday by adding jokes, comics, and funny costume ideas. Plus, once Dobie showed me the scroll boxes, it really just simplified my design down and made it look sweet. The site’s due tomorrow and I think I am going to be ready for it.

Halloween … Its Approching

Hey everyone,

Anyway, I started on the Halloween site today. I really didn’t get much done besides plan out the site and get a general idea for its graphical layout. However, seeing how my fellow students, like Steve Dobie, are progressing is really inspiring me.

Grade School Memories … Completed!

Hey everyone,

It’s Joey back from another day of web development. Today I finished my grade school memories site after mush toil. I completed a lot of graphic work the night before, but for some reason the roll over animations I tried to add just wouldn’t work. We tried everything, using both FF and IE. In the end, I just had to drop it and use images as the links. That actually turned out to look pretty nice though. Well thats about it. Cya!

I am Running Out Of Ideas … For Blog Titles

I think its coming along pretty nicely, although I still have a lot of work to be done before class is over tomorrow.
